speedaire 10 hp two stage compressor - Adjusting air pressure

i have a horizontal speedaire 10 hp two stage compressor 2007 serial # 1451673.how do i adjust the air pressure?

Bill says...

The cut in and cut out pressure is determined by the settings on your Pressure Switch.

The pressure you set for your downstream applications, the air tools or air cylinders etc., is handled by your Regulator.

Cheers,

Bill

3-phase 208/230/460volt max is 230v 50amp.min is 230v 19 amps it is an 80 gallon air compressor. i have to wire the motor and the power there is low voltage on the motor and high voltage which one do i use. should i wire it to 230 volts and use low voltage on the motor and if so should i use a disconnect or 4 prong outlet for power.

Daniel. Sorry but I am not an electrician. While I can, and do, simple electrical stuff on my basic home compressor, when it comes to the one in the shop, particularly higher voltage ones, I call in an electrician.

Cheers,

Bill

Dan. Welcome. Thanks for writing in.

Your first stop is the local Speedaire store, where they might be able to get you a pressure switch that works. That's what I think your compressor problem is, the pressure switch has failed. Find guidance to your local Speedaire location from the Speedaire link on the nav bar.

Failing that, after pulling the power supply and draining the air, pull off your pressure switch (take a digital picture or two of the wiring to you remember where each connected) and take it to your local hardware store or compressor store to see if they can get you a replacement. Or check out the REPAIRS page linked from the nav bar to find local compressor repair outlets.

Good luck.

Bill
