Adjust air pressure

Hello, I have a Gardner-Denver tow-behind gas compressor (Waukesha 4 cyl)/mid-80's. The output is appr. 70 PSI: I would like to know to to increase the pressure for jackhammer purposes, etc. Do you have any detailed information? The unit seems to run well, but, I have read that jackhammers require 90 PSI. etc. Please advise. THANK YOU

Hello Michael:

I find it difficult to believe that your gas powered compressor has a cut-out pressure of just 70 PI, so I suspect what's happening is that you need to adjust the demand regulator to the pressure you want, up to the high pressure cut-out level of your compressor.
