94667 will not build above 40psi

The compressor is an 2006 model # 94667, the compressor will not build above 40psi,

i have taken off head and the piston appears to have good compression.

i have noticed a small crack probably due to dry rot in the pressure switch rubber diaphragm,

also the reset switch appear to have been overload at some point due to the fact to button does not function,

engine however does still run,

have reset switch ordered as well as pressure switch,

this was given to me and i would like to bring her back to life, any possible suggestions would be appreciated,

also can make a gasket sealer be used to replace gaskets, reed and so forth look good. THANKS!!

Thanks for responding Doug, I looked at the Campbell hausfeld Hl4000 gasket kit, it looks identical, I believe someone here suggested it. Thanks and happy new year!!

Low pressure
by: Doug in s.d.ca

I'm assuming it gets to 40psi and keeps going? I.E., the motor isn't stopping, but the pressure stays at 40?

Sounds like you're on the right track.

Typically, this sort of thing is a gasket that lets go at some high pressure, but seals at lower pressure, so if you haven't pulled the head yet, look for that.

Yeah, you'll need to make your own gaskets to get it together, be sure to use high temperature material(s).

Good luck, have fun!
