I have a gas powered 9 gal 135 psi wheel borrow air compressor that will not start that has not been started in a while. I have changed out the spark plug. changed out the oil on in the motor and the compressor motor, i have also put brand new fresh gasoline in the tank and it still will not start.

Probably the carb is gunked up.

You could try some starter fluid directly in the intake, or rebuild/replace the carb.

That's assuming you're getting a good spark at the plug.

You may find if you get it to start, it'll die under load, and that means look to the idle control circuit (air or cable connection). it can get gunked up/sluggish too.

Good luck and let us know how you make out with it. A model / make would be nice to know if you have more problems.
