I HAVE A MODEL 67501 COMPRESSOR WHEN I GET READY TO START IN MORNING IT TRIPS THE RESET SWITCH THIS IS MY SECOND COMPRESSOR IN 5 MONTHS THAT HAS DONE THIS. IT HAS OIL NO EXTENSION CORD AND ON 20 AMP CIRCUT BREAKER.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM

Kurt, I don't start too well anymore when it's cold, either! :-)

It depends on how cold it is, doesn't it?

If it is cold enough I suspect that it is overloading the circuit when trying to get going when the oil is sludge due to the cold weather thickening it up.

Why not pop over to the page, linked from the site map, Cold Weather Starting, and have a read, too?

Comment here with any developments, if you would.

Cheers,

Bill
