5 hp quincy some times it will slow down

compressor will run fine until it reach about 130 lbs in tank then some timen it will slow down. I thougt it was the motor , put on new one same problem.

Brad, that it only slows down sometimes suggests to me that it was a run capacitor or wearing out motor that might be the issue.

Dump the air, clean the intake filter if you have one, and disassemble, clean, and reassemble the check valve.

Let us know if this works, will you. If not, I think it will be motor and capacitor load-test time.
