33 gallon oil free Husky leaks air. What could it be?

The compressor is a 33 gallon oil free Husky. The issue is that after the compressor run and get the complete charge i go to adjust the air to get the psi i want and start to loosing the air by the adjustment valve.


Should i returned or the is a solution to the problem?

If it's new, take it back.

From what you've written, it sounds as though the regulator is installed backwards... that is, the flow is going the wrong way.

If the Husky is out of warranty and you cannot take it back, look on the regulator for an arrow indicating the flow path. The arrow should point FROM the tank air TO the discharge coupler.

If the arrow points the other way, that is your problem, and you need to remove the regulator and turn it around so the flow path is going in the right direction.
